Bishop's Pastoral Visit
Bishop Kevin Doran will visit the parish for Pastoral Visitation on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th January. He will visit the primary schools, the sick and housebound and will meet the Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Committee. He will celebrate Mass in Ss. Peter & Paul's Church on Tuesday 27th January at 7.30pm. All parishioners are invited to this Mass and to meet Bishop Kevin after Mass.

Clann na nGael annual dinner dance
Annual dinner dance will take place on Saturday 7th February in Athlone Springs Hotel, Monksland commencing at 8.30pm. Music by Weightless Astronauts. Tickets available from Harney’s Post Office, Kennedy’s Monksland and committee members.

Cookery Demonstration and Artisan Fair
Athlone Hockey Club will be staging a fun and interactive Cookery Demonstration and Artisan Fair featuring TV chef & food writer Catherine Fulvio on Thursday 5th February in Athlone Springs Hotel, Monksland commencing with wine reception at 6.30pm. Tickets €20 available from the hotel, from Savoury Fare, and from Cáca Milis at the Regional Sports Centre. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Family Pantomine
St. Joesph's College and St. Aloysius' College present 'Once Upon a Time' in St. Joseph's College, Summerhill on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st January at 8pn. Tickets €10. For bookings contact 090-6492383 (during school hours).

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje

Drum/Clonown Community Games AGM
The AGM will take place on Monday 19th January at 8.30pm in Drum Parish Hall. The community games is for the children of the area and without a proper structure at committee level it will become impossible to keep the games running. We are in need of more parents to get involved at committee level and your support would be appreciated.

Are holding their annual Elder Persons Event in the Sheraton hotel, Athlone on Sunday 25th January from 4-8pm. A number of well-known acts performing on the day, with light refreshments provided. Tickets €6 are available from the Community Gardaí in Athlone Garda Station.
