Fighting Blindness - Thank You
Thank you to everyone who supported the church gate collection on 3rd-4th May. The collection in Drum raised €261.40 for Fighting Blindness, an Irish, patient-led organisation funding research into treatments and cures for blindness and is 90% funded by community fundraising. Your support is very much appreciated.
Taughmaconnell Join Our Boys
Raffle tickets are now in circulation for an auction and raffle taking place on Saturday May 31st in McHughs, Taughmaconnell. We would really appreciate any support you can give. New Bishop
Congratulations to Fr. Kevin Doran who was this week announced as new Bishop of Elphin. Fr. Kevin is currently serving as Administrator of Donnybrook parish in the Archdiocese of Dublin. He will be ordained Bishop for the Diocese of Elphin later in the summer, following the retirement of Christy Jones, who has served as Bishop of Elphin for twenty years.
