Saturday 1st November is a holy day of obligation. Mass times:
-Drum: Vigil (Friday) 8pm, Saturday 10am.
-Clonown: Saturday 11am.
-Ss Peter & Paul's Church: Vigil (Friday) 6.30pm, Saturday 9.30am, 12 noon, 6.30pm.

Silver Jubilee Celebrations
The McEvilly family invite you to Sr. Helena's Silver Jubilee celebrations on Friday 31st October. Mass at 6pm in Drum Church followed by refreshments and entertainment in Drum Parish Hall. All are welcome.

Drum Branch Apostolic Workers
Annual coffee morning, cake sale, sale of work and mission display in Drum Parish Hall on Sunday 2nd November at 11am, immediately following Rosary in cemetery at 10.45am. Your support would be very much appreciated for our own missionaries at work in foreign countries.

November Envelopes
Are available at the back of the church for those who wish to have their deceased relatives and friends prayed for during the month of November.

Ladies Fitness Classes
Get Fit - Stay Fit Class including body toning, cardio workout, fat burning and weight loss, commencing Thursday 30th October in Drum Community Centre at 6.45pm. Contact instructor Gerry 086-0881653 for more information.

Crochet Classes
New 6-week term starting Tuesday 4th November 10.30am-12.30pm in Drum Parish Hall. All levels catered for. Cost €75 for 6 weeks. Booking essential. Contact Anne Marie 086-8053467.

Athlone Animal Welfare
Reminder to people to keep their pets safe at this time of the year. Many pets go missing and or get injured during the Halloween celebrations. Please ensure all bonfire material is checked for wildlife prior to lighting as many hibernating animals such as hedgehogs take shelter in the material.

Radio Rocks
A night of musical talent by local artists. Joint fundraising venture between Athlone Animal Welfare and Athlone Community Radio. Halloween night, The Snug Bar, Spot prizes on the night, Fancy dress optional, Tickets only €5. For tickets call 087-9364974 or 085-1657200.

Castledaly GAA Monster Auction
Sunday 2nd November at 2pm in Moate Community Centre. Doors open at 12.30pm for stalls and viewing auction items. Donations welcome on Saturday morning/afternoon.

Haemochromatosis Information Meeting
Ireland has highest rate of iron overload in the world - a condition known as Haemochromatosis. Information meeting on Wednesday 5th November at 7.30pm in the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone with speaker Dr Gerard Clarke, Consultant Gastroenterologist at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.

Coláiste Gaeilge Beo
Irish summer college is now accepting applicants for our July 2015 courses. Venue: St. Joseph's College, Summerhill, Athlone. Course A: Primary 4/5/6th Class. Course B: Secondary 1/2/3rd Year. Memorial Night in Memory of Jackie Gately on Friday 17th October at 9pm in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. All proceeds in aid of South Westmeath Hospice. Live entertainment and spot prizes on the night. Please support this worthy cause.
