Clothes Collection
In Aid of The Irish Pilgrimage Trust “Caring For Children with Special Needs” In addition the Trust travels on pilgrimage annually to Lourdes at Easter with young people with special needs from all over Ireland. If you have any unwanted clothes you can support the charity by placing the clothing in a bag. Collection will take place on Sunday the Sunday 24th May at Drum Parish Hall from 10am–12 noon.
Progressive 25 Card Game
Proceeds to assist Charity Work on the Missions in Bolivia to be undertaken by local girl Catriona Harney and her friend. Takes place in Clann an nGael Club House, Johnstown on Monday 25th May at 9pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Numerous food hampers and other prizes on the night.
Roscommon Social Car Scheme
This is an organised form of transport where volunteer drivers give their time and use their own vehicles to provide transport for older people and people with disabilities who do not have their own transport attending doctors, hospitals appointments or collecting prescriptions. Will be celebrated on Sunday 28th June at 3pm in Ss Peter's & Paul’s Church. Bishop Kevin Doran will be the main celebrant at the mass for the Jubilee of Marriages. Irish Rural Link hosts its annual conference, entitled the Future of Rural Towns and Villages, on Friday 1st May in the Grand Hotel, Moate, Co. Westmeath. The conference will hear from Minister for Rural Development Ann Phelan, Pat O’Callaghan (Ferbane Action Group), Peadar Casey (Ogonnelloe Project), Philip Geoghegan (Wicklow Uplands Council) as well as the latest research from NUIG students.
Moynalty, the winners of the 2013 Tidy Towns Competition will be giving advice on how you can improve the appearance of your area and make it a source of pride.

Foróige in South Roscommon is hosting a Community Awareness Social Media & Internet Safety Event on Friday 17th April at 8pm in Moore Hall, Ballydangan. All welcome. The keynote speaker for the event is Senator Lorraine Higgins who will present her cyber experiences. Local T.D. Denis Naughten will also deliver an address.

Don't be afraid to get that bike out of the garage/shed/ditch & come along for the fun. We are a Leisure Cycling Club open to all cyclists regardless of your cycling capabilities.
