Clann na nGael Notes

Under 14 Boys County Final
Clann na nGael 4-13 St. Brigid's 4-7
The Clann na nGael u-14 team took on St Brigids in the county final on Friday evening last in Knockcroghery. This was the fourth meeting of the 2 sides this year and it was no surprise that both sides went in level at the break. Brigids came out Strong after the break , but Clann recovered well and goals from Shane Lacey, Jamie Fahy and Neale Conway set Clann up for a hard fought 6 points win. This game was a great advertisement for Roscommon Football and with players like these young lads coming through the future is very rosy for the primrose and blue.
