Holy Hour
There will be a Holy Hour on Tuesday 8th October at 8pm in St. Brigid's Church, Drum.

Autumn Stations
Anyone who would like to host the stations in their home this autumn is asked to contact Drum Parish Office at 6437125 to arrange a date. This is a lovely tradition which has been passed down through generations in our parish but would seem to be in decline in recent times. Perhaps you would consider hosting the station mass for your area to ensure the tradition continues for another generation.

Church Gate Collection
The County Roscommon Association supporting People with Special Needs will hold their annual church gate collection next weekend 28-29 September at both Drum and Clonown churches. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Every Monday night at 9pm, recommencing Monday 23 September, in Clann na nGael Clubhouse, Johnstown.

Golden Jubilee
Fr. Seán O'Dowd, SPS, is celebrating the golden jubilee of his priesthood this year (1963-2013). We congratulate Fr. Seán on his jubilee and thank God for his 50 years of dedicated service to the Church both as a missionary priest in Africa and here at home in Ireland, and in particular his work in this parish. Fr. Seán will celebrate the 12 noon Mass on Sunday 29th September and a small presentation will be made to him after Mass.

Change of Mass times
The number of Sunday Masses in Ss. Peter & Paul's Church will be reduced from 3 to 2, commencing on Sunday 6th October 2013. Mass will be at 10.00am and 11.30am on Sunday, while the Vigil Mass will continue to be at 6.30am on Saturday. We regret this change. The decision was made by the Parish Pastoral Council due to the reduced number of priests in the parish following the appointment of Fr. John McManus as Parish Priest of Ballagh. He will not be replaced. Also, Baptisms will take place on Saturdays at 2pm in future.
