O'Gara Cup
Clann na nGael (2) 3-09 Eire Og 2-08
Clann's 2nd team had a tremendous win over Eire Og last Saturday in Cushla Park. This was the first adult match played here and the good underfoot conditions helped make this a very entertaining game. 2 first half goals from David Lennon gave Clann the lead but Eire Og fought their way back into the game and it took a goal and a point from Matt Scally in the last few minutes to put some breathing space between the teams. The defence was excellent with Phelim O'Neill in goal pulling off some point blank saves and Kenneth Dowling at centre back as commanding as ever. Paul Bruce and Denis Gavin gave powerful displays in midfield and 2 goal hero David Lennon and Emmet Rock showed the way in attack.
Team and Scorers: P. O'Neill, N. Kennedy, P. Dunning, R. Fallon, D. Egan, K. Dowling, N. Shine, P. Bruce, D. Gavin (0-1), R. Gavin(0-2), M. Scally(1-1), D. Lennon(2-0), G. Petit, E. Rock (0-2), K. Kenny (0-3). Subs; K.O'Neill, K. Conneely, M. Killian.

Feile Girls
Clann na nGael 4-14 Four Roads 1-02
The U-14 girls had a good win over Four Roads on Friday evening in Johnstown. An early goal from Gemma Nichnolson settled Clann and they led at half-time on a scoreline 2-06 to 1-02. In the second half 2 goals from Karen Nicholson finished the game as a contest. They are now through to the Feile semi-final against Ballinameen in Ballinameen next Sunday at 12pm.
Team: Ellen Harney, Louise Curley, Jennifer Duignan, Deirdre Ward, Aileen McEvilly, Gillian Wall, Leanne O'Connor, Katie Rock(0-3), Rebecca Naughton(0-1), Grace Naughton, Kayleigh Dunning(0-5), Karen Nicholson(2-2), Gemma Nicholson(1-0), Orla O'Neill(1-2), Anna Shine. Subs Ciara Costelloe, Saoirse McManus(0-1), Hazel Menton, Kirsty Warby, Aoibheann Golden.

Ladies Senior League
Clann na nGael 3-11 Padraig Pearses 0-04
Clann Ladies defeated Pearses in a match played in near perfect conditions in Woodmount on Easter Monday. Clann got off a good start with 2 points from Emma Harney followed quickly by a great score from Tracey Keegan. They continued to put pressure on the Pearses defence with Aisling Egan and Ruth Finlass dominant in midfield. A penalty from Ruth and another goal from Michelle Harney-Nolan was some reward for there dominance, as Clann led 2-08 to 0-02 at the break. Facing into the breeze in the second half a great free from Ruth increased Clann's lead. Ciara Fallon scored a another great point after a good run and despite hitting the woodwork on several occasion Clann closed out the game with another goal from Ruth. Amy O'Reilly and Clodagh Rock performed excellently in defence while Aisling Egan ran herself into the ground in midfield. Up front Ciara Fallon, Emma Harney and Tracey Keegan linked up well to create many scoring opportunities.
Team; Eileen Goode, Michelle Keegan, Cathy Watson, Kathy Doran O'Rourke, Amy O'Reilly, Clodagh Rock, Kelly Killian, Aisling Egan, Ruth Finlass (2-2), Ciara Fallon(0-2), Aisling Curley, Roisin Dunning, Michelle Harney-Nolan(1-2), Emma Harney(Doohan) (0-4), Tracey Keegan (0-1).

Congrats to the Senior Scor Question Time team of Tommy Harney, Sean Murray and Tom Nolan who won the Roscommon Final on Good Friday night in Knockcroghery. 10 teams took the stage in the Question Time and Clann defeated Elphin in a play-off to advance to the Connacht Final next weekend in Manorhamilton. Congratulations to the Roscommon Scor Committee which was successful in attracting 36 entries and many new clubs to the event and a very large crowd.
