Dominic’s came back again with 2 points and Emmet Kenny reply with a point to put Clann 1-8 to 1-3 up midway through the second half. Dominic’s did not want to get beaten and they scored 1-1 to reduce the arrears to the bare minimum between the sides. Clann na nGael Notes

Scor Sinsear
Hard Luck to the Clann Scor Question Time team of Tommy Harney, Tom Nolan and Sean Murray who were defeated in the All-Ireland Final in the INEC in Killarney over the week-end. The winning team from Allenwood in Kildare were first time winners in what was their 9th final over a 30 year period, so nobody could begrudge them a title. In all, three titles crossed the Shannon, Ballinamore of Leitrim (Novelty Act), Corofin (Instrumental Music), Abbeyknockmoy (Set Dancing) and also congratulations to neighbours Moate and Brian Dolan who won the Recitation and Clara for winning the Ballad Group. Close to 2000 people attended the event in what was a very successful weekend and the Club would like to thank Coiste Scor Roscommon and Connacht for all their help.

In what will be a busy week for Ladies teams in the club, the U14 girls will try to defend their Feile title with a tough assignment with neighbours St Brigids on Thursday in Johnstown. The Club hosted St Laurences from Kildare on Saturday and played U14 and U12 girls matches. A very enjoyable day was had by all and many thanks to all that helped out with the catering and organising of the day. Also the club hosted the Pat the Baker Post Primary Senior B Final on Wednesday evening last. The girls from St Joseph's Castlebar defeated Cahir from Tipperary in front of a large crowd and the club again wishes to acknowledge all those who helped with the smooth running of the final.
