St. Brigid's Church
Drum Church Window Repairs
Repair work on the stained glass windows in St. Brigid's Church, Drum is due to commence on Monday 8th October. The cost of the work will be €45,000 and the diocese has approved an interest-free loan, which will be repaid through a second collection to be taken up after Communion at all weekend masses in the church, commencing Saturday 6th October. Your continued support for the church is much appreciated.

Autumn Stations
Anyone who would like to host the stations in their home this autumn is asked to contact Drum Parish Office at 090-6437125 to arrange a date.

Summerhill Fun Run/Walk
On Thursday 27th September at 1.30pm. Sponsorship cards available from St. Joseph's College (secondary school). Spot prizes for best fancy dress and for most sponsorships. Please support.

Ranganna Gaeilge

Indoor Market
Calling all bargain hunters near and far! An indoor market will be held in Drum Community Centre on Saturday 29th September 11am-6pm. Racks packed with pre-loved delights and fabulous new creations from local people. Fun things for the kids and tasty treats for the young and old. Athlone Cancer Support Services
Commences on Friday 28th September and will run every second Friday from 10am-1pm. The services are free and strictly confidential. Open to both male and female. Youths 16 years or younger wishing to avail of this service must be accompanied by an adult. Venue: St. Kieran’s Community Centre, Tormey Villas, Athlone. Permanent Deacons
The Diocese of Elphin is now accepting final applications from married and single men who may feel celled to ministry as Permanent Deacons. The four year part-time training programme will begin in November 2012. Parish Novena
As part of the Jubilee Celebrations for Ss. Peter & Paul's Church, the Parish will be hosting a Novena from Monday 22nd to Tuesday 30th October in the 3 churches of the parish. It will be conducted by the Redemptorist Fathers. A more detailed programme will be published later.

Bridge for Beginners
Classes commencing on Tuesday 9th October in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel at 8pm. For further information contact Denise at 086-1799800 or just come along on the night.
