Parents Meeting
A meeting for the parents of the children for First Holy Communion for Ardkeenan, Cornafulla and Summerhill N.S. will take place on Wednesday 15th October at 8pm in Drum Parish Hall. All parents are requested to attend.

Drum Heritage Group book launch
Reprint of 'Milling on the Crannagh Cross River' with additional information will take place on Friday 17th October at 8pm in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. Official launch by Bairbre Ní Fhlionn, principal lecturer in the Folklore Department of U.C.C.All welcome.

Computers for Absolute Beginners
Galway Roscommon ETB Adult Education Service BeneFIT 4 are running a free computer course for absolute beginners, starting on Wednesday 15th October 7–9pm in the Involve Centre, Monksland (behind Pat McDonnell paints, opposite Elan).

South Westmeath Hospice
Memorial Night in Memory of Jackie Gately on Friday 17th October at 9pm in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel. All proceeds in aid of South Westmeath Hospice. Live entertainment and spot prizes on the night. Please support this worthy cause.

Palliative Care course for carers
