Pieta House, The Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or Suicide
Pieta House West - Charity Cycle
A cycle will take place on Saturday 25th August from Galway to Johnstown. Anyone who wishes to take part in this event or support this worthy cause can get sponsorship cards from: Paddy 087-2487340, Joe 086-2670012 or Pádraig 085-2889025. Cycle training every Sunday morning from Clann na nGael, Johnstown at 9am sharp. All welcome, beginners especially - nothing too strenuous to get started with.

Drum Heritage Annual Coach Tour
Tour to various historical and heritage sites in south county Galway on Sunday 12th August, departing from Summerhill at 8.30am. Fare €15 to be paid with booking to Hon. Secretary Mrs. Babs Bohan 090-6437203 or Anton Lennon 087-9918966.

Creative Art Camp
Games, Art, Clay, Stories, Puppets, Drama. Monday 20 - Friday 24 August 2012, 11am-2pm daily in Drum Community Centre. Cost €50. Booking necessary, places limited. Contact Evelyn 085-8195820.

Warmer Homes Scheme
Roscommon LEADER Partnership offer attic and cavity wall insulation to people who may meet certain criteria. You can register your interest in the scheme immediately by contacting their office in Curraghboy at 090-6630252 for an application form.

Drum Walking Group
Meet at Drum Community Centre on Mondays at 7.30pm. This is for anyone interested in the fresh air and outdoors, while getting fit and keeping healthy at the same time! Anyone can join us with no costs involved. All are welcome.

Traditional Irish Music, Singing and Dancing
Every Thursday night from 7-8pm for the summer in Passionfruit Theatre, Northgate Street, Athlone. Suitable for all ages. No booking necessary. Admission €7 / concession. Young children free of charge.

Psychology Course
Vita House Family Centre, Abbey Street, Roscommon are currently accepting applications for a Level 7 Certificate in Psychology (2012/13). The course is affiliated to NUI Maynooth and is a useful addition to professional and personal development and can also provide a pathway to further third level education, particularly for those who may have been out of formal education for a considerable time.
