Reports
Clann na nGael (1)  1-11 St Ronan's 0-05
Clann had a good win over St. Ronans in Abbey Park , Boyle  in what were windy but dry conditions on Sunday. Playing with the wind on their backs in the first half Clann held 0-7 to 0-1 lead. An excellent penalty by Jonathon Dunning in the second secured the win with good performances from Ray Fallon, Niall Kennedy and Ronan Killian in defence, Gary Shine ruled midfield and with David Lennon, Emmet Rock, Johnny Dunning and Kevin Kenny working hard up front. On the down side there were injuries to Ronan Gavin and Emmet Rock to add to the already long list of injured.
Team; Darragh Lennon, Niall Kennedy, Paul Dunning, Ray Fallon, Ronan Killian, Niall Shine (0-1, 45), Ronan Gavin, Niall McManus, Gary Shine, Conor Duignan (0-3f), Matt Scally (0-1), David Lennon (0-1), Emmet Rock (0-1), Jonathon Dunning (1-2), Kevin Kenny (0-3f). Subs John Paul Dunning for Ronan Gavin, Enda Kenny (0-1) for Emmet Rock and Ross Naughton for Paul Dunning.

Clann na nGael (2) 3-09 Creggs 2-09
The Clann 2nd team enjoyed an exciting win in Cushla Park on Saturday evening. The match was played in blustery conditions with heavy showers, but nonetheless produced some good passages of play. Creggs played with the elements in their favour in the first half and lead by 0-6 to 0-2. An early 2nd half goal increased their lead to 8 points before the Clann fight back began. A goal from David Lennon was followed quickly by a Creggs og before points from Kevin Kenny and David Henry gave Clann the lead. However a 2nd Creggs goal took the momentum away from Clann until David O'Neill was pushed over in the large parallelogram and Ian O'Reilly slotted home the resulting penalty to give Clann a three point victory.
Team; Phelim O'Neill, Morgan Keena, Paul Dunning, Mark Killian, Ronan Killian, Denis Gavin, John Paul Dunning, Paul Bruce, David O'Neill, Ian O'Reilly (1-1), Graham Petit, David Lennon (1-0), David Henry (0-3), Emmet Rock, Kevin Kenny (0-4), Subs Keith O'Neill, Cormac Harney.

U-16 League - Clann na nGael 5-08 Western Gaels 1-4
Clann U-16s had a big win over Western Gaels in Frenchpark on Sunday morning. They had a whirlwind start with goals from Daniel Qualter, Emmet Kenny, Darragh Glynn and Daniel O'Connor to leave the half-time score 5-3 to 0-3 but Clann also had Stephen Shine in goal to thank for a few smart saves to leave such a wide gap between the teams at the break. Next weekend they play St Ciarans in the Quarter-Finals of the championship.
Team; Stephen Shine, Kealon O'Neill, Darragh Egan, Cian O'Reilly, Mark Connaughton, Michael McManus, Gearoid Lennon, John Harney, Daniel Qualter (2-1), David Harrington, Dermot Higgins (0-2), Emmet Kenny (1-5), Daniel O'Connor (1-0), Darragh Glynn (1-0), Cian Duffy. Subs; John Finnerty, Fiachra Lennon, Willie Shine, Enda McManus, Andy Harrington.

U-14 Feile Replay - Clann na nGael 3-09 St Dominics 3-07
This replay was equally as exiting as the drawn game last Wednesday. Playing with the aid of a howling gale in the first half Clann looked to have missed their chance by only leading 0-5 to 1-1. However the scores were tit for tat in the second half with the winning goal coming from a brave Darragh Petit who had played on despite receiving the full force of the ball in the face earlier in the match. Two excellent frees against the wind from Rudhrai McManus were other highlights and there were also great performances from Paul Mannion and Pierce Harney-Nolan in defence. They now play St Ciarans in Feurty at 6.45pm on this Thursday coming.

U-14 Girls Championship 07/04/2008
Clann na nGael 8-06 St Mary's 3-01
With a number of Roscommon players on both teams, this was expected to be a serious battle and so it turned out in the 1st half. Played in calm conditions St Mary's took control to take a 6 point lead. A goal from Orla O'Neill and another from Kayleigh Dunning when she soloed from midfield right through the whole of the St Mary's defence to score left Clann trailing 3-01 to 2-02 at half time. In the second half though the Clann defence tightened up with great displays from Marissa Murray in goal, captain Ellen Harney, Ciara Galvin and Ciara Costelloe to keep St Mary's scoreless. Louise Curley and Katie Rock worked hard for Kayleigh, Rebecca, Aileen and Orla to get the scores up front. The scoring was completed by a goal from substituted Gemma Nicholson. The workrate and tackling by all the Clann forwards was impressive and also the stamina as  they never stopped pressing forward throughout the game. Now the team looks forward to the Feile Final against St Bridgets next Wednesday 16th in Kiltoom.
