Drum Senior Citizens Christmas Party
On Sunday 14th December in the Athlone Springs Hotel, Monksland. Beginning with Mass at 5pm. All senior members of the Drum area are invited.

Ss. Peter & Paul's Church Maintenance Fund - Night Out
In the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Monday 15th December at 9pm. Christmas Carols with Ss. Peter & Paul's Folk Group, Liz Fletcher, Ailish McCormack, Leah Fletcher. Dancing to Brian Sullivan & Aidan Higgins Disco. Admission €5. Raffles and spot prizes! Please support.

Church Gate Collection in Drum on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December at Drum Church.

Penitential Rite
Including confessions in preparation for Christmas will be held on Tuesday 16th December at 7.30pm. A number of priests will be available for confessions.

Christmas Envelopes & Parish Calendars
Will be distributed next week by your local area distributor/collector. The parish wish to thank most sincerely all the area distributors for their help throughout the year and wish you & your families a very happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.

Christmas Fair in Cornafulla N.S.
The pupils and staff of Cornafulla N.S. will host their AnnualChristmas Fair in the school on Friday 19th December. The event is ahighlight of the school year and as in previous years the support ofparents and friends and the local community would be much appreciated.The charities to benefit this year will be Drum Community Care, St.Vincent de Paul, Sr. Lena Harney and Sr. Helena McEvilly.

Drum Christmas Bingo
The annual Drum Christmas Bingo will be held on Friday 19th of December. Along with all the usual cash prizes, we'll be giving away almost €500 in extra cash prizes. With over 60 chances to win on the night and prizes from €20 to €650, there's plenty of chances to win. And of course we'll also have the monster raffle with two luxurious hampers worth over €100 each, along with other prizes to be won. Doors open at 8pm, game starts at 8.30pm. Big Christmas Bingo

Carol Service
Athlone Methodist Church, Northgate Street warmly invite you to come along and participate in the Carol Service on Thursday 18th December at 7.30pm. The collection will be in aid of St. Hilda's Services, Athlone.

Christmas Concert
In St. Mary's Church, Athlon on Sunday 21st December at 8pm. Presented by Athlone Choral Society with special guests. Proceeds go to help Athlone Branch of St. Vincent de Paul. Tickets €10 with concessions €8 available from St. Mary's presbytery.

Samaritans Fundraiser
Volunteers are needed for bag-packing in Tesco, Golden Island on Tuesday 23rd December from 10am-10pm. Could you or a member of your family help for one hour? Contact Deirdre on 086-8576920 or turn up on the day.

Garda Drop-In Station
In Monksland Community Centre every Tuesday evening from 7-9pm.

Broadband
The Cornafulla exchange has now been upgraded to be broadband enabled so many people in the Drum area should now be able to get connected to broadband through their phone line.
