Charity Match
The Annual Clann na nGael Married v Singles football match in aid of St. Hilda's Services, Athlone will take place on St. Stephen's Day in Johnstown, starting at 1.30pm. The game will be followed by music and refreshments in the Clubhouse. A great family day out in support of a good cause.

Christmas Pantomine
Dean Crowe Theatre presents "Mother Goose" Christmas pantomine on Thursdat 1st, Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd January 2009. For bookings call 090-6492129.

Christmas Concert
In St. Mary's Church, Athlone on Sunday 21st December at 8pm. Presented by Athlone Choral Society with special guests. Proceeds go to help Athlone Branch of St. Vincent de Paul. Tickets €10 with concessions €8 available from St. Mary's presbytery.

Samaritans Fundraiser
Volunteers are needed for bag-packing in Tesco, Golden Island on Tuesday 23rd December from 10am-10pm. Could you or a member of your family help for one hour? Contact Deirdre on 086-8576920 or turn up on the day.

Thank You
Drum Bingo committee wish to thank most sincerely all those who came to the annual Christmas Bingo on Friday night last, 19th of December. It was a great success, and almost €2,500 worth of prizes were given away on the night. We also want to thank all those who supported us throughout the year. We wish you a peaceful Christmas and a happy new year. Our next bingo will be on Friday 2nd of January and we look forward to seeing you all then for the first bingo of 2009.
