Ardkeenan N.S. Enrolment
Any parents/guardians wishing to enrol their child in Ardkeenan N.S. for September 2010 (who have not already done so) should call to see the Principal on Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th between 10am and 3pm.

Gaelic on the Green
Clann na nGael's "Gaelic on the Green" scheme starting in Monksland and Bealnamulla. Children from ages 6 to 14 years are invited to attend coaching sessions on the greens of the following areas of Monksland and Bealnamulla:
Monday 26th April: Barley Fields, Slí an Coiste, Cluainbroc.
Tuesday 27th April: Monksfiled, Ashford, River Village.
The sessions are from 6.30 to 7.30 p.m. each evening in each area/green. This is a promotion of gaelic football by bringing it to your doorstep. Parents are encouraged to bring your child/children along to participate. It's free and it's fun!!

Waste Silage Plastic Collection

Roscommon Lamb Festival
A celebration of family fun, great food, farming, crafts, heritage and community spirit in County Roscommon. Taking place on the May Bank Holiday from Wednesday 28th April to Monday 3rd May 2010. Now in its third year and growing from strength to strength with a vision of creating a nationally recognised festival for the Roscommon and Shannonside regions. Based on the fact that Roscommon has the highest lamb output in the country, the festival celebrates lamb in a diverse range of food, farming and heritage events over the course of the weekend. Highlights include: The RLF Restaurant competition; Sheep Farm Walks, Walking & Heritage Tours; BBQ Brazilia & Irlanda; Family Fun Sunday; Wool Craft Village; Pet Lamb Competition; Little Bo Peep & Boy Blue Competition; International Sheepdog Trials; RLF2010 Farmer’s Market; Teen Student Fashion Expo; Big Ol’ Barn Dance in the Festival Marquee. RTÉ All-Ireland Drama Festival
Takes place at the Dean Crowe Theatre from Friday 30th April to Saturday 8th May, nightly at 8pm (except the final night, Saturday 8th May at 7pm). Booking at 090-6492129 or online at www.deancrowetheatre.com

Mass of Rememberance
For all those who died by suicide or who have been affected by suicide in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Coosan on Thursday 29th April at 8pm accompanied by Tullamore Gospel Choir. All welcome.

Parish One-day Pilgrimage to Lough Derg
Buss will leave Ss. Peter & Paul's Church at 6am on Saturday 8th May. Overall cost €65. To book a place contact the Parish Office at 090-6492171.

Parish Pilgrimage to Medjugorje

Charity Tax Relief Forms
Reminder to PAYE workers who contributed €250 or more to Ss. Peter & Paul's in 2009. Please return your completed form to the Parish Office as soon as possible. Forms can be obtained from the Parish Office 090-6492171. The relevant tax refunds will go towards the Church Maintenance Fund. Many thanks for the positive response so far.
