Clann na nGael Notes

All-Ireland Under 21 Football Final
All roads lead to Tullamore next Sunday as Roscommon Under 21s take on Dublin in the All Ireland decider in O’Connor Park at 2pm. Best of luck to the two Cathals as they line out for the county. To mark the occasion Roscommon County Board have declared this Friday 4th May as ‘Rossie Day’. Rossies everywhere are encouraged to paint the world Bui agus Gorm by wearing the Primrose and Blue, put up a flag, and donate €2 to the Under 21 training fund. Supporters are also reminded of the upcoming Roscommon draw. Tickets are available from the club officials and everyone is asked to support this venture.

Match tickets are on sale from the Roscommon GAA Office daily between 10am and 4pm and from Smith's SuperValu, Monksland during regular opening hours. Ticket prices are as follows: Stand (unreserved) €20; Terrace €15; Senior Citizens / Students €5 (any area of the Ground); Juveniles Free (any area of the Ground). Please note that Season Tickets are not valid for this fixture.

Minor Ladies Connacht Final
Next Saturday sees Roscommon Minor Ladies take on Sligo in the Connacht final. The best of luck to Kayleigh Dunning and Orla O’Neill who line out for Roscommon.

Foundation Coaching Course
This year we are putting extra emphasis on coaching within the club at all levels, the aim being that all coaches hold at least the Foundation Coaching award. Padraig Naughton has organised a Foundation Coaching Course to be held in Johnstown this week, on Wednesday 2nd May from 8pm to 10.30pm and on Saturday 5th May from 10am to 1pm. Places are limited and on a strictly first come, first served basis so if you are interested please book as soon as possible. On completion of these two sessions you will hold the Foundation Coaching award.
