Penitential Rite
Penance service with individual confessions and prayers of reparation and repentance will take place on Monday 2nd April at 7.30pm in Ss. Peter & Paul's Church.

Easter Envelopes and Easter Cards
Will be distributed to each home in the parish during the coming week by your local area collector/distributor. Your continued generosity is greatly appreciated.

Holy Week Chrism Mass
A special celebration in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Wednesday 4th April at 7.30pm. During the mass, Bishop Christopher Jones will bless the oils used in the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Orders and the Sick. You are cordially invited to join with the Bishop and priests of the diocese for this special celebration. Light refreshments served afterwards in the Gillooly Hall.

Easter Bingo in Drum this Good Friday night
Drum Bingo will host an Easter special in Drum Community Centre on Good Friday night at 8.30pm. Doors open at 8pm. Usual cash prizes to be won, plus 24 Easter Eggs to be given away on the night. Monster raffle also. Everybody welcome.

Book Launch
Drum Heritage Group invite you to the launch of their book 'Titanic' on Friday 13th April at 8.30pim in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone.

Western Alzheimers Tea Day
Please help Western Alzheimers by hosting or attending a Tea Day on Friday 13th. April in your home, your place of work or in your local community. Donations towards Tea Day also gratefully accepted. Night at the Dogs
In aid of Ss. Peter & Paul's Church Restoration Fund on Saturday 28th April in Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Sponsor a race: €300. Sponsor a dog: €50. Tickets: €20 each on sale now from the Sacristy, the Parish Office or any member of the committee. 1st prize €1,000; 2nd prize €500; five prizes of €100.

Cornafulla Old School Re-union
Re-union of Past Pupils of Cornafulla Old School will be held in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Friday 18th May at 8pm. All past pupils welcome. Further details on Cornafulla school website.

Care to Drive
Volunteer transport programme run by the Irish Cancer Society. We recruit and train volunteers to drive patients to and from their hospital appointments. We are currently looking for people in the Athlone/Ballinasloe/Moate/Shannonbridge areas to drive patients to and from Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. The service is free to both the hospital and the patient with the Irish Cancer Society incurring all costs. Volunteers are paid for all their fuel expenses. We are asking for volunteers to commit to driving 2 days a month (Mon-Fri). For more information call Gail on 01-2310566.
