The U-21 team bowed out of the Championship on Saturday when they went down to a strong Elphin side in Orchard Park on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-6. Clann lead 1-3 to 0-2 after 11 mins play with the goal coming from a Donal Shine penalty but Elphin pegged the lead back to the minimum at half-time and they were the much better team on the turn around but were helped by a controversial goal in the 18th minute of the half.

The Junior B team were narrowly defeated by Creggs 2-7 to 1-9 in Cushla Park on Sunday in the Division 4 league semi-final. Controversy arose in this match over a penalty for Creggs,10 minutes in the second half as Clann lead by four points. Clann also scored a penalty which had to be retaken by James Keegan.

The Minor Ladies comprehensively defeated St Marys yesterday in Johnstown by 13-9 to 1-8 but are still unsure whether they will play in the A or B competition until the result of the St Brigids v Four Roads match next Friday. Playing with the aid of the breeze in the first half they went for the jugular and for goals and lead by 32 points at half-time 10-8 to 1-3. There were some tremendous displays all over the field with some great support and unselfish play in the forward division.

Ladies AGM
The Ladies AGM was held in the clubhouse last Friday night. Chairman thanked all that helped out all year and congratulated everybody on bringing three underage titles to the Club. The following Club Officers and Management teams were elected on the night.
