Drum Community Games
New venue for Athletics - now in Athlone I.T. grounds on Friday 8th May commencing at 5.30pm sharp.

Lá na gClug - G.A.A 125 Celebration
To mark the 125th anniversary of the GAA, Clann na nGael will hold a commemoration day on Sunday 10th May in the club grounds in Johnstown commencing with Mass at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome. As part of this, we are setting up a museum in the clubhouse. The museum will hold a collection of items of interest and memorabilia from over the 73 years of Clann's history; cups and trophies won by the club, footballs from important matches, old jerseys, photos, old videos, match programmes, ticket stubs, match reports, and other items of interest We are dependent on the goodwill of the community in putting the museum together. If you have any item that you would like to donate or loan to the museum, please bring them to the clubhouse any Monday evening between 7:00PM and 8:00PM.

St. Joseph's Schoolboy Football Club
10th Anniversary celebration will be held in the Athlone Springs Hotel on Saturday 2nd May at 8.30pm. Buffety, music, spot prizes. Tickets available from club officials, cost €15. Everyone welcome.

Roscommon Lamb Festival
Roscommon is the place to be from Wednesday 29th April to Monday 4th May 2009 for the second annual Roscommon Lamb Festival. Come and join us to enjoy the best of local food, particularly our naturally reared Roscommon lamb. This festival promises to appeal to both town and country, young and not so young. Highlights include Festival Fashion Show with Catwalk Model Agency, Farmers Market, Cookery Demonstration with Celebrity Chef Clodagh McKenna, Family Fun Day, BBQ, Roscommon Rose Of Tralee Selection Ball and Carers Association Mini Marathon. Roscommon Mini Marathon
10K Marathon in Roscommon on Monday 4th in aid of The Carers Association. Entry fee €10. Assemble at Hannons car park 1 - 2 pm. Start at 3pm.

Joint parish bingo in the Dean Crowe Theatre and St. Mary's Hall on Sunday 26th April starting at 8pm sharp. Over €5,000 in prizes and the jackpot €1000 must be won on the night!

'Music By The Water' on Sunday 26th April at 8pm in the Radisson Hotel. Tickets €15 available at the hotel.
