Adult Art Group/Classes
Meet every Monday from 10.30-12.30pm in Drum Parish Hall. New members welcome. Tea provided. €10 per person.

Ceili & Barn Dancing Classes
In Drum Parish Hall every Thursday evening from 830-10pm. Everyone welcome to come along and enjoy a night of the music, dance and exercise.

Drum Foróige
Youth club meets in Drum Parish Hall every Friday night from 8-10pm. Ages 12-18 years from Drum parish area welcome. Volunteers/Leaders needed.

Day of Prayer for Priests
On Thursday 1st October and the first Thursday of every month throughout the year at the Chapel of Adoration, Castle Street, concludes with the Eucharistic Celebration at 6:15pm with invited priests who share their vocation story and priesthood life and ministry. All are welcome.

Eucharistic Adoration
Consider committing to an Hour of Eucharistic Adoration per week, at Liturgical Centre, Castle Street. Times needed: Fridays: 2pm, 6pm; Saturdays: 9am, 4pm. 5pm. If interested, contact Sr Sonia 090-6498755.

Bridge Classes
Starting on Wednesday 7th October from 8-10pm in Hodson Bay Hotel. For further details contact L. Shine at 086-1607913.

Children’s Art Classes
On Monday evenings from 6pm to 7.30pm in Drum Community Centre with art teacher Anja Sammon. Suitable for children from first class to sixth class. All materials are provided and family concessions are available. Booking is required. Please ring Anja on 087-7815941 or 090-9678867 for more details.

Kettlebell Total Body Fitness Training
Workout classes in Drum Community Centre every Monday 7.30-8.30pm and Wednesday 7.30-8.30pm. Classes cost €8 per class or €20 for 3 classes when pre-booked. All levels of fitness welcome (male and female). Instructor: Martin Mulvihill 086-0868171.

Garda Drop-in Centre
Every Tuesday evening from 7-9pm in Monksland Community Centre. Gardaí are available to chat or discuss about local concerns in the area and to help with passport forms, driving licence, etc. To contact Roscommon Garda Station telephone 090-6638300. In case of emergency please dial 112 or 999.

Naíonra Réalta Geala
Pre-school through the medium of Irish re-opens in Drum Community Centre on September 8th 2009. Free pre-school places from January 2010 (5 mornings per week). For further information please contact Catherine 086-0641910 Or (090) 6437411 After 6pm.

Rural Community Transport
South Westmeath Rural Transport Association provides a return bus service from Drum/Clonown to Athlone every Friday. The service is operated by Willie Moore. This is a very important service and we encourage people to avail of it. The bus leaves Drum Church at 10am and through many areas including Ardkeenan, Cornafulla, Drumlosh and Clonown, arriving at Golden Island Shopping Centre at 11.05am. Bus leaves Golden Island at 1.30pm. View the full timetable on www.drum.ie or on the notice board at the back of Drum Church.

Ss. Peter & Paul's Church Maintenance Fund
Tickets on sale for two monster draws with prize fund of €200,000. Tickets €100 (€50 per draw) and are available from the Parish Office, Sacristy, Drum Parish Office and various people throughout the parish. Full details available on www.drum.ie

Volunteers Needed
Fr. Ray is looking for you to become a Eucharistic Minister, Reader, Parish Council Member etc. Sign up now, do your part, there are plenty of other roles you can play in our Parish Community e.g. Altar Society, Basket Collector on Saturday/Sunday. You can nominate yourself or nominate someone else, but please ask them first. Thank you to all who are already doing their part in making this such a great parish community.
