MINOR LEAGUE
Clann na nGael   1 – 14   Boyle   2 – 9
The Clann na nGael minor team recorded their second win in a row against Boyle on Sunday last. Clann were slow out of the blocks with Boyle hitting 2-1 in the first 5 minutes. Clann finally shock the long journey out of their legs with points from Emmet Kenny, Cathal Shine and Francis Mc Manus. Cathal Shine rattled the back of the Boyle net to leave Clann trailing by 2 points at the break.
Boyle sent over 2 points after the restart to go 4 points up, but Clann hit back with 6 without reply to go 2 points up. Things could have been worse but for 2 great Thomas Keogh saves, and a goal line clearance from Cathal Duignan. Clann never let go of the lead and ended up deserving 2 point winners.
